Last week I had the pleasure of chatting with Central Michigan students. We talked about some of my previous work as a designer, a lot about branding, and what it’s like to work with clients.
The students asked some really great questions:
- What’s the difference between marketing and branding?
- How should I go about differentiating myself when searching for jobs?
- Where do you pull inspiration from when writing your blog?
- And my personal favorite: How do you sell a client that is hiring you to do one thing, but you know needs more than what they’re hiring you to do?
